I Am A Tree Poem by Scot Warren

I Am A Tree

In dirt I’m stuck, I am a tree
Roots grown deep, I can’t break free
In winter I’m left in the cold
All alone with no one to hold
You are the sun; I’m in the shade
Thoughts of you will never fade
Deep inside, I feel pain
Waiting for you to make it rain
