False Love Poem by Mayikazie Aurolis

False Love

Like a ghost she walk.
Without a single thought to talk.
Her soul was empty
Her heart, all angry
No happiness was left within her.

It hurts within
Like poison it stings.

He once was hers, and hers alone.
Till one took him just for her own.
Her dreams faded away
Her hopes were shattered.
Her love all gone.

He did not know
Nor did he care
He left all behind
Just for her he mind

Betrayed and cheated
She felt defeated.

Her heart was breaking
Rage made her shaking.
But what could she do?
It was over, it was.

Now she was just an empty shell
Waiting for the bell
That would bring her home
Away from him all.

But the Lord came in
He gave her a life
To replace the stolen
He gave her love
To replace the lost
He gave her dreams
To replace the faded
He gave her hopes
To replace the shattered

Then He spoke with a gentle voice
'Why do you weep, little one?
Why do you mourn?
Forget about him,
He's not for you.
The false love he gave,
is nothing now.
I loved you since the beginning,
I would protect you forever.
Shelter in my arms, little one,
And I would heal you.'

Praise the name of the Lord
Who replaced the love that's gone
Who replaced my place on the cross
Who healed me fully
Who loved me forever.
He is the Creator, my God, my Father, my love.
Abide in Him forever,
Because He loves you and so does those who loves Him.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This story's about me, really. The boy I liked and dated actually liked another girl, and it was really painful since the love he gave me was just false love. For two months i had to suffer heartbreak until I returned to God. He showed me His love and He healed me. He showed me He had been waiting for me ever since i strayed away from Him(the start of me dating the guy I liked) . He had been waiting for my return ever since, and He had never left me. I just love God, He is Almighty, all Powerful, and all Loving. The Creator of Heaven and Earth, He's just truly magnificent.
