Falsely Trusted Poem by Kathryn Cox

Falsely Trusted

Rating: 5.0

Who can I blame?
Is it I who tore down walls,
or are you a professional?

I am broken and misplaced,
I am hurt.

Disapointment and guilt made me concerned.
Made me confused.

I am me,
and I am crushed.

Why I get like this,
And then I blame!
I care too much,
But I pretend to care too little.

How foolish of me,
how foolish of you.
How you know how to do.

Fill me with your excuse,
and then fulfill me.
Our circle of trust.
