Far Away Eyes Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Far Away Eyes

Far away eyes
Bring me near and dear
Visions sparkling dreams
Those for which
Beauty feels blessed within

Fantasy eyes shining so bright
Star lit visions amplified
Hypnotizing peeks igniting
This spirit ready to take flight
To brand new worlds never seen
Upon an untouched universe full of euphoria

Ignite. Ignite
Take me far away with that sacred stare
Let us go to places I have never dared to go
To the great beyond
Where judgement dies
And this soul is seen on the outside
Making me feel not so ugly anymore

Hold on, Hold on
If things get too hectic
I will take control
Throw you higher than I could ever be
Sacrifice this flight
So you can feel the safest you could ever feel

Far away eyes
Looking in, I see so much of everything

Hopes and dreams
Brightly lit ambitions
Strength and fortitude
The will of surviving one day at a time
I feel it all

Far away eyes
Please, bring me near and dear
Upon those very visions sparkling of dreams
For which
All beauty feels blessed within

Far away eyes
Will I ever get close to you?

This soul outshines this body
That is to views in tune with another universe
One where I am truly from

Do you know where to go?
If so I will patiently wait for you

Faraway eyes
Where do I go from here?
Stuck on the outside
Afar, looking in the window of your soul
Still, What a beautiful view

Far away eyes
Will I ever get close to you?

These dreams, they belong to you

What do you see in these eyes of mine?

Hope you seize all truth

Far away eyes
peek in deeply
What am I to you?

Please, if you are going to judge me
Do it all from the inside
That is all I ask for you

Far away eyes
So near and dear
Where do those visions go from here?
This soul is all I have
Everything else is out of plain view

Far away eyes
I have been patiently waiting for you

Do you have any care at all?
