Far From You Poem by Charley Staines

Here I am so far from home,
Out in the rain all alone,
Missing you so very much,
Nothing I wouldn't give to feel your touch,
Your arms tight around me,
Your warmth surrounds me,
When you're name flashes up on my phone,
It feels like i'm all the way back home,
Not long until I see you again,
But this day just wont seem to end,
Can't seem to shake these thoughts from my mind,
Hoping to open my eyes and it's you I find,
If I begged and if I cried,
Would you be here with me tonight?

Yesterday I met a stranger, so very kind,
Today I sit alone, with only you in mind,
Tomorrow I shall travel home,
No longer will I be alone.
