Farewell Poem by Nina gáspari

Farewell

Sometimes I think
Everything should be like nature´s dew
But if it was so
Life would be somewhat less sweet
Nights out,
Days in
And an endless curiosity
About this feeling
That glows in the eyes
Reflecting what the soul silently
Hopes to be feeling
Seeking
to intertwine with the lonely stars
But not the falling ones
Cause those play tricks on us
The come and they go
Faster than a thunder a lightning,
Bring along the rain and then
Say goodbye
They don´t even try a see you soon
So long, who knows?
Abusing their skills
A certain lightness is what they feel
Farewells tend to always be this way
I keep you with me, as I already miss
The piece of me, you´ve taken with you.
