' Farewell....' Poem by Shondrika Anderson Williams

I'm gone home to rest, no more suffering, no more pain.
GOD saw I was tired and couldn't fight anymore so with Him a new life in Heaven I've began.
You may cry and weep for me, but please don't be too sad.
Remember me as I was always smiling, fun-loving, reminise on the many times we've had.
I loved you all as family and I know I'll be missed by many.
Just know that we'll one day meet again, GOD's love is greater than any.
So cry if you must, but please let them be tears of joy.
Knowing that my pain is over and my life I did enjoy.
Don't think of me as being gone, though from this earthly life I've depart.
I'll live forever and a day, just deep within your heart.
