Farewell!
It was yesterday;
When I stepped into my school…….
Holding on to my mother’s hand..i was nothing more than a fool!
But with every passing day…I grew,
Learning to fight my fears ……
and hold on to my tears…
I learned to screw my way through!
Exams not far,
As studies took over…
I held on to my books,
As lifelines or hooks!
Nothing did help,
When exams took off,
But for my dear friend;
Nerdy as ever,
He helped us through forever!
I learned to cry,
I learned to laugh,
I learned to never lie!
I learned to love,
And fight at times….
I learned life as it passed!
And here I am,
At the end of my road,
Leaving behind memories,
Hope they won’t corrode!
To find another road,
That will take me far away!
From friends,
From teachers……
From my dear school! !
