Where have you gone. How did those years
Turn now into so many tears.
The small expressions of your face
And eyes which leave no earthly trace.
For from this world I watched you leave,
To cause your parents here to grieve,
A light then turned to lifeless stone,
Which greater grief is mine alone.
And so your rug it lies outside,
And too my soul, flung far and wide,
Beyond this universe we see,
How more than you, and more than me.
