Farewell M. Mcparland Poem by Isadora Quagmire

Farewell M. Mcparland

Rating: 5.0

Amazing words our dear friend wrote,
so tender, pure, and true;
each line a prayer from a faithful heart,
with grace that shone right through.

He spoke of love in gentle tones,
of longing deep and clear;
and oh, how brightly Kira's name
rang sweet for all to hear.

His poems bloomed like morning light,
like blessings gladly cast;
they warmed the weary, heartened the hurt,
and held when sorrow passed.

Now from PoemHunter's quiet pages
his footsteps fade away;
yet all he penned still shines with grace—
a lamp that lit up our days.

Dear friend, God bless you on your road,
may peace upon you fall;
I wish you strength, I wish you joy,
and love that conquers all.

And I, and all who knew your voice,
will miss you more than known;
yet pray the Lord walks close with you
until He brings you home.

Farewell M. Mcparland
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Today I discovered that one of the most brilliant and yet unknown poets on Poemhunter has left this site. He was a superb poet, writing deep and meaningful masterpieces—guaranteed every time. Sadly, none of his poems are still accessible—if they were anywhere to be found I would repost them so that he might get some of the praise that he deserved. He wrote poems of faith in God and of undying love addressed to "Kira". He was also very enjoyable to interact with. He left kind and thoughtful comments and was always very polite. May God bless him wherever he is now and may his days be filled with joy and gladness! Farewell to Michael McParland :)
