Farewell To My Teacher Poem by Abdulrahman Kabir

Farewell To My Teacher

He came from far and stayed with us
Chose a cage over a space for our use
Put the hidden water in a crystal glass
So we see beyond, outside the class

You are a torch in faints midst
Whose light shines the faints
We always pray to be just you
A comparative teacher like you

We can neither forget nor can pay
Your contributions but rather say
Allah reward Malam Hayatuddeen
With Jannatul Firdaus for his keen

My core mates I named you stones
For you have shown good concerns
UMDA, the giant I wish you the best
May Allah reward you with his best

Ya Allah, we are in another challenge
Give us all the wisdom so we avenge
Misconceptions done to your deen
And ikhlas to do more for the deen
