Fate Poem by Kayla Jacobs

Fate

the hands of fate is a sight to withhold
they cut the lifeline of those who have been told
sometimes their job is less merciful
as they hold the hearts of two in one
they squeeze one till it breaks
shrivel to the ground in broken heaps
as her heart fades her fate has been decided
and it's not you they chose to withstand it
