Father.
Where were you?
when i first had a broken heart?
where were you?
when my best friend had to part?
why weren't you there
to tuck me in a night?
I had no-one to turn to
or to hold me tight.
Daddy i loved you
more than words could say
but the day you walked out of my life
is the day you took it all away.
i'm all alone, fighting the world
why couldn't i be daddy's little girl?
