Father Poem by somebody else

Father

Rating: 5.0

I have taken for granted how much you care,
but since my first breath, you've been there.
You helped me crawl, and begin to walk,
made me smile, and want to talk.
There to comfort, through every tear,
whenever needed, you were always near.
I haven't appreciated, what you've done for me,
now sorry am I, it's taken so long to see.
With little thanks, you have always done your best,
and held your patience, with this constant pest.
For my mistakes I know, there have been a few,
but truly worse yet, has been dissappointing you.
So I thank-you greatly, for never turning away,
I love you Lord, happy Fathers Day.
