Father Poem by Kelcie Harm

Father

I wonder if you Truely love me

I hear the family talking

I see the pain in your eyes
do you see it in mine?

I want to be the daughter you seek,
It's not me and because of that i become weak.

Dreaming of a father that understands me,
but i know thats not who your ment to be.

I touch my face to wipe the tears

I hope when im grown i wont need you and i will no longer frown

Crying because you leave me feeling split
Torn at the seems
struggling from the hit
