Fatherless Poem by sarah hempy

u can feel the hurt every day, can feel the hole in my heart.
u can feel the eyes of people watching, can hear their little smerks.
u try to be strong, u try to look away.

u smile and laugh, hold it all in.
dont let them see how ur caving in.
just show them ur happy and, hide all the pain
then they wont no u. cant judge u again.

at night u stay up to cry it all out.
maybe it will help
it dont matter through, cuz it wont go away.
u wake up mad and cant shake it off.
u grid ur teeth and close ur eyes.

NOT AGAIN, NOT AGAIN
NO PLZ NOT AGAIN.

u cant go through it again.
the tears and pain and lies
the betrayal and alies

u fight to control wat u dont have anymore.
u hold on to memories of the past from before
just start a new begining and let it all out.
