Fear 1 - Poem by Prathibha Nandakumar

Fear is no façade
His fear is real

Her love is more fearful than her hate
Fragile is scary
Tough too frightens
Adulation can be terrifying
Meek submission alarming

He fears and hence avoids
She loves and hence seeks

Till weariness catches up with them both

And they meet mid way where she is indifferent
And he tries his hand at senile smile.
They talk of eighth generation computers when

Everything crashes
And they are afraid
