Fear - Poem by Michael T. Crandall

A shy man
A quiet woman
A meeting of chance
He rambles nervously on
And hopes for a response
The more interested she seems
By her laughs and her smiles
And the increased presence near him
The more he longs to kiss her
But he fears rejection and does not
He hopes for a response
The more interested she seems
He rambles nervously on
This meeting of chance
A quiet woman
A shy man
