Fear Poem by Michael Tiea

Fear

Rating: 4.0

As hard as I may
I could never push the wind back
It blows with its might that took my breathe away
My eyes, the horror brought me into pitch black

As hard as I try
I can’t push the wind back over the hill
What it brought made my heart cry
Made me hurt inside and desolated my will

What can I do to prevent this?
How I cannot accept what the wind has brought
I want to push it back and make everything seem bliss
But I know I am too scared to try and this guilt that lies in my thoughts

The fear that consumes me
To bear this agony alone
I wish so much to flee
But I lay there on the ground and moan
