Fear And Illusions Poem by Rina Rocker

Fear And Illusions

Holding my books, before walking into a new school.
'Will they like me? ' I wonder 'Or will they think i'm a fool? '
I'm pushed in, through a rushing crowd,
They all stare.
Uncontrollably,
I glare,
Unaware, if they'd judge me,
Before they know me,
Point out my flaws,
Think i'm a phony,
Just a phony brony,
Who'll watch my little pony all day everyday
A warm smile appears,
Then dissappears
Throughout this rushing crowd.
It's hidden.
My thoughts fade into a oblivian
The bell rings,
Homeroom,
Introduce,
The new girl,
Who hasn't even got her time to shine.
They stare.
Little smiles and whispers.
No one sees the pain behind the mask.
You aren't me. You don't know me.
T.I once said
'Either love me,
Or you can leave me,
Before you judge me,
Just let me be me.'
You can't say you know me,
If you think i'm a phony brony.
How about you loose yourself and say
'You know what? Everyone just shut up, and take some time to listen to her rhymes and maybe, just maybe, you'll see the signs of good and bad and you know what? If i were you, i'd be glad to have someone helping me through the cracks like the rose who grew from nothing and became famous, from a simple dream in reality. Now it beams, so brightly, overcome and overcame all the fears! Now what do you have to say.'
Listen to her words
And stop being so absurd.
