Fear Of Dark Pain Poem by Patricia May

Fear Of Dark Pain

Rating: 4.5

I grab in the dark,
with the fear of my own pain,
brought on by a child hood past,
screaming aloud,
and yet no one hears me.
Now left to sit in defining silence,
with no one to guide me,
and no hope for me to gain.
Hidden deep inside,
is all my anger,
and all my pain.
My fear of the darkness growes.
My fear of pain still remaines.
I hold back my tears,
I must not let them see me cry.
