Fear To Awaken Poem by Vision Ghost

Fear To Awaken

Mists, of the might have been swirl in congregation
Finding me in this place again, so much recognition
That I may see you here again, in this second world
As if angels called me again, to a background merle

I see your figure step towards me, for that embrace
Your hair, as if the wind has so captured your grace
Lips sensed upon mine, as I enwrap myself around you
Taken to absorption, of your eyes in the greyish blue

That here I can be with you again, in a timeless space
So far from these dwelling realities, without your face
Encompassed and entranced by your voice, once again
On this landscape of nothing physical, without a frame

For the memories of you flood back, like many tears
Such as your touch, dispelling for me the related fears
See you rising on a bed of stars, carried by innocence
Hoping you would never fade away, in evanescence

Taking my hand, bringing me to your heart so close
A soul felt encroachment on me, in a dreamy engross
Your body’s sleek curvature, pressed close against me
Falling for this again and always leaving me, so free

Majestically held as I capture you again, in my arms
Always the protector against all, that are fearful harms
A kiss placed on these lips sealed, in the way of love
Spilling over in this bliss, as upon the wings of a dove

I am your prisoner again to this fate, so uncontrollable
That this is never to be for real again, or even virtual
For a destiny is sealed in sadness, for this mourning
A wish is cast that I could remain, in infinite dreaming

So that I can hold you once more, as if you never left
Before this dream concludes and leaves me so bereft
As does this rising of my own lonely dawns, revealing
Cannot open my aching eyes, for my heart is breaking
