Fearful Mistake Poem by Karthik Srirangam

Fearful Mistake

Rating: 4.0

My eyes can see through all the skies, with merely the power of hope, which I can shine upon mankind.
Made oblivious, made bullheaded and made unaware, mankind really is something rare.
Mistakes are human, is what is taken from me, as I let in mistakenly the devils palm of jealousy.
Though done with hope, resilience and compassion the devils breeze of dark matter was added to my selection.
Darker than the human soul can withstand, overwhelming those who do not stand.
Fixing this I let in yet another one of devil’s hand.
This one wasn’t jealousy, although it was ultimately more paralyzing
An emotion of cowardice with terrorizing anxiety, that places humans unease, a dreaded horror causing cold feet, trembling movement up the spine triggering the creeps and panicking the human mind.

Fear is different from common sense, as one fulfills the human duty and the other fears.
As one saves a person on the road, whilst the other fears
As one faces its problems, whilst the other fears.
As one shows the supremacy of mankind, whilst the other fears
As one fears death and death alone, the other fears even itself

A fearlessness being might sound ridiculous
But fearful beings are just vicious

Not because they are, but because fear is within them all.
