Fearing Corruption Poem by Breanna Verkon

Fearing Corruption

I lay under the sun in order to tan
I drink Mountain Dew from a can
If I ever knew trouble I never ran
It is my nature to ignore lecture
But sadly lecture is a part of nurture
So I listen but I do not hear
Because it is corruption that I truly fear
