Fears Poem by KOMBE SAKWE KOFI

Fears

Shed tears, stay strong to face my fears,
Knees to the ground, I know the Lord cares,
Stole my peace and extorted my freedom,
Paranoid and scared, I paid the ransom,
I'm Fearless like Daniel down the lions den,
Courageous, kept confidence till the end,
Monkey on my back, stay close like my angel,
Temptations steady coming like I owned them,
Thunderbolt, overcoming them, you could name me Usain,
Soldier from the barrack, I stay first like Hussein,
Through the wilderness, I stamped upon the snakes,
Tears of joy, smiling before the pearly gates.
