The walls seem so much closer
When you're far away from me
The things I shouldn't have said
Have finally set you free

And now I'm traveling much to fast
To find out where I need to be
A place far from the moon and stars
A place just for you and me

But sadly no matter how hard I try
You will not come with me
Don't you understand, I need you
For to my heart you hold the key

Why would I lie about
The way I feel or the way
I look at you
My words are true
You reacted in spite of all the things
We shared that were good
Now you're a feather in the wind
Prone to land somewhere
I've never been

Please dear, I'm calling to you
You don't get how bad this is killing me
Can't you see
I need you to be with me

Set me free on this horrid ride
Of death and life
I will confide
Truth hides in the souls of us
Death comes quick
So what's the rush?
