The truth has hid its ugly head from us

Will I die?
A sense of immortality has showed up

When you're sad
I'll make you happy
When you're down

The light that shrouds
My inner soul
Delves within me
And takes control

I notice but I turn
From the glimmer in your eye
And I'm afraid that I'll go blind
If I look

The walls seem so much closer
