I remember the morning you've finally gone,
the sky was stripped bare, and wind was bleeding.
Grey clouds were shrinking, reduced to the bone,
dried out like me, left hurtful and needing.
The message you left, the text on the phone
Was painfull yet dull, I couldn't stop reading.
The mistakes we both made are now mine to own,
but if You never look back, through life you'll be speeding.
True love is a hunger, loud shriek and a moan
You told me once, there's no use of pleading.
One day you'll depart, i've somehow just known,
that your hunger needs constant feeding.
Like a leaf by the wind, you were always blown,
out of the good life you ought to be leading.
Always craving to anchor yourself like a stone,
for even a hunger should someday be seeding.
