Feelings - Poem by Louie Thompson

You don't what it's like
or how I feel.
You don't even act like
my feelings are real.

When we're alone
you're as sweet as can be.
You hold my hand
and tell me you love me.

But then when your friends
are hanging around.
You make fun of me
whenever I make a sound.

You joke and tease
and act like you don't care.
When it comes to me and my feelings
you are so unaware.

Even though I love you
and I always will care.
I feel like sometimes
you might not be there.

I tell you these things
and I tell you how I feel.
But you still don't get it,
my feelings are real.
