Feelings Poem by Nobody Somebody

My family is in turmoil at this moment due to the irrational thought process of my stepdaughters mother. The thought she has that only she is allowed to be there for the child, to love the child, to care for the child. The thought she has that the child is only allowed to love her. Not ever the childs own father is good enough in this women's mind. A good father, one who tries, supports his daughter, goes to games and school functions. He even puts her hair up. We genuinely love this child but her mother has DCFS always at our door with unfounded claims trying to turn her against us. My heart aches with how much I just want to be a good step mom and a good mom but this woman has jealousy issues and thinks that hurting people and ruining their life is winning. I don't know what to do anymore.
