Fell Into Her Eyes, And Into Love Poem by Roger Snow

Fell Into Her Eyes, And Into Love

So, soft the way she sings
Kinda mindful, of the flutter
from Hummingbird Wings

Some kid of soulful
in her eyes
If she's an Angel
I wouldn't at all be surprised

Lilt like Voice
velvety, smooth
like sliding on Ice
Oh yeah
She's certainly
this kids choice
for a Wife to be

Say the Sunbeams shall
shower down
Upon her Flaxen Hair
cause a shine so bright
can't help but do nothin;
except stand and stare

And, , ,
When the Moon is
Waxen out there
and tide has come in
You ought to then,
see that hair
Lo' it's Majestic when, , , , ,
She dances beneath that
night time sky, , ,
all the World
seems to fade away
when that Woman
comes out to play

Move over
stand aside
I just gotta have
that child
have her, , , ,
for my bride

Never in my sweet Life
did I ever think
I'd want a Wife
and in my time
I'm sure I'd of got by
By living life
on the fly
just freewheeling
unto the day I
would die

Now I ain't so secure
in that Tale I told
of being single
throughout life
until this kid
grew very old

And so
We became
one into the other
melded into one
and now, , She's
my child's Mother

Man that I can be
I give it my all
I give unto you
all you'd have, me be

Racing wind across
my mind
Lo' child
in that wind I find
Visions of you and I
Walking home together
into and across the sky
~~~~ End
