Something there above the trees
Lattern sways with spring breeze
Fireflies buzzin
Light show around
sharin' Wine with my Cousin
and she just fell down
Drinking ain't for me she laughed
as I Picked her up from the floor
Yeah I said,
you make a Better Turtle
than you do a Girraff
laughing we fell back through the door
It's Spring for the Stars up there as well
and their smiling down at us
wishing us well
Oh those nights of our teens
those moments living our lives
in days serene
Front Porch music jam
inspired and heartfelt
through happiness
voices rising in song
Oh what a life we lived
while we could, , maybe still can
Out for day on the lake
water ripples with the Wind
sunbeams glisten atop each wake
Rocking that old boat we're in
Those Nights spent watching Lighting Strikes
or those early morning rides with our bikes
out to the Meadows where we'd love in the
grass, , making Dandy Lion Wishes
we knew would some day come true
so love those memories of the past, ,
so loved being in love with you.
~~~~~~~~~~ This Bowl of Stars overhead, give the feel we've got a long long way to go ~~~~~~~~
This poem pictorializes like out of a bona fide dream of emotional and experiential intimacy through the best of times. I loved this poem.
Thank you Julia for this Blush my Cheeks now wear. I penned the piece during a Time a deep reflection of My World back in the Day. I did indeed " Love being in Love with that World back then." We've always got that World as long as our inner child refuses to grow up. don't ya think? Thank you.
