Ferris Wheel Poem by mya White

Ferris Wheel

Although confined and limited in space,
they piled in with eagerness.
One by one they run to a spot.
I can feel the excitement running through their bodies as we lift off.
screaming, yelling in excitement.
Up, up, round and round we go.
Light wind brushes their faces as we take off higher.
New things are discovered as we pass the horizon,
sharing the sky with a stranger brings
an indescribable feeling.
Being a ferris wheel is liberating
