Fewer Are Rising Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Fewer Are Rising

Fewer from sin are rising now
From woeful deadly crime
Sorrowful knees, Jesus to bow
While still they have the time

But with heart and soul where shame persists
Where sin rules night and day
Few know or care if One exists
Revealing Heaven's Way

To countless Christ's long forgotten
God's but a childhood tale
In a milieu, stinking rotten
Life's truth and facts can fail

God knows this, and thus wide calling
Servants willing to rise
Seek out lambs ignorant falling
God's Son to heal their eyes

When seen, when heard and exalted
With Jesus' death portrayed
With souls liberally salted
Life's introduction's made

Life's freeway to Heaven's clear
Thorns and thistles aside
God's living truth can adhere
Christ' Spirit will abide

Blessed is each soul these facts believe
Life's truths, God had me tell
Blessed are those, who Water receive
Free from Salvation's Well

Heartily welcome, is everyone
Set free Heaven to soar
To live, love, Father, Ghost & Son
Today and ever more.....

For for those who believe it is not just in Heaven that we have a place. He makes sure that there is a door opening when one closes. I believe...
