Fifty Poems Of Misery Poem by Matthew Petranovich

Fifty Poems Of Misery

Rating: 2.5

Fifty Poems of Misery,
are writen,
down this list I see.
And though I wish
to throw them all away,
I can't seem to do it,
I want them to stay.
They remind me of my pain,
so if I threw them all away,
could you really blame me?
And even though,
some may be happy,
I wrote them all in misery,
So why can't I flush them down
the drain,
why can't I take away,
the reminders of the pain.
There's nothing I have gained
through writing them,
over and over,
time and time again,
they don't even get me friends,
and with this poem makes fifty-one,
Fifty One Poems Of Misery.
Seems to be the sweetest tragedy.

Ah, I found a fifty-second misery: 0 comments. Of course, flush 'em and misery gone, but do read mine - Prolonged Sorrow - Adeline
