Figure It Out? Poem by George Downes

Figure It Out?

Rating: 4.0

Okay, so this time
thing
seems to have begun
to slow
the seeds planted
need sunlight to
grow and with
patience, even virtue
maybe a
lucky seed may
be sown
what is yet to
be grown
remains unknown
a future called
my own, could
entail a winding
journey, or a
rightous path
navigating to
his destined throne
so... whiulst that's
all hypothetical and theoretical
with the narrator
doing his best
to portray loosely
succincy themes
throguh the medium
known to be poetical
limited to pen, paper and
unique combinations
of the alphabetical
no wonder its
understandable to be
skeptical but
trust in the nonsensical
rise up, taking steps
towards the pedistal
whats waiting
its
INCOMPREHENSIBLE
Figure it out
youn say
figure it out, just
figure it out
you were born with all
the greatest have had, ]
with your equiptment
you'll do just fine
my lad.
