Filial Thankfulness Poem by RATIKANTA SAMAL

Filial Thankfulness

Imagination stays always; misdirected
Dream is breathless in the sealed bottle;
I'm non-existent without your Godly hand
No words; non descriptive mighty soul;
From birth to my social status earned
Everything overflows because of you;
The greatest strength of me runs over
The painful state of body and mind too;
Played the role of guide and philosopher
Taught to understand the prime ideology;
To be good enough in the changing world
Chances to me to embrace the right theology;
How can I pay you filial thankfulness?
It would be impertinent, I deeply think;
Your greatest identity and magnanimity
Can never be made full with a mere blink.
