Finally Poem by Keli Mims

Finally

[A poem for my Father who died a few months ago.]

After traveling compleyly alone,
I'll find my way back home,
And I'll finally see you again,
Because it'll finally be the end,
Arm in arm we'll walk the street,
Little birds fy around and tweet,
They sing a beautiful song,
I'll say 'It's been so long',
I'll say how much I missed you,
Then I'll see everyone else to,
Hugs are given as joyful tears fall,
Then we'll talk about it all,
The good memories and the bad,
How once happy then sad,
I'll tell you everyday I love you,
Because every second I missed you,
Broke my heart every day,
Torn apart in 21 diffrent ways,
But then I'll always see you,
They'll all see and be with you to,
I'll fill you in on things I did,
or how my tears I always hid,
You'll give me a hug and say,
'I saw all of it, every day, '
I'll smile 'Can we meet him now? '
You'll say 'Well I guess so, '
Then again we'll walk along,
As the birds sing thier song,
Then together we'll see him,
Now that it's finally the end,
I'll fall into his perfect arms,
Finally I'm away from harm,
Finally I'm with my Father,
Both earthly and Heavenly Father.
