Finally Yours Poem by Spunky Minx

Finally Yours

I'm tired of pride and low-valued dignity,
Of walking away, lonely, crying, all mighty.
I'll take off my boots,
So I don't run away.
I'll sink in the mud,
I'll soak with the pain,
If that's what it takes to hold on some love.
Then I'll cover the shame that's replaced my flesh and bones,
And I'll live with the grace of holding your hand.
