Finding Work Poem by Kathryn Tyler King

Finding Work

He walks, stops and takes a drag,
and watches the hummingbirds fly.
He wonders, frowns, time just lags.
as he looks for jobs. He really tries.

The economy has hit our little town
and jobs are few but we still eat.
The bills keep piling all around
as my husband pounds the street.

Watch over him Lord as he travels
to every job site with his resume'.
Help his mind not worry or unravel.
Lead him to a job where he'll stay.

I have faith that a job will come
in Your hands he rests and knows
that You have a plan, a big one
as he relies on Your Spirit's flow.
