My fingerprints are
A representation of me
The design of a loop
Is a common group
But mine are
Individual
Identifiable
And as traceable
As me

My fingerprints are
A representation of me
Each tip represents
Personality elements
Quiet
Latent
And as resilient
As me

My fingerprints are
A representation of me
See peaks and troughs
When you dust them off
Stubborn
Unchanging
And as self-repairing
As me

Just as my fingerprints do
I always leave my mark.
