Fire Poem by Naomi (fellowtuber123) Hamilton

Fire

You said that you'd come back,
But now you've left me without a soul.
No on to relate to,
Or compensate for.

Your devilish smile,
As you know all my weaknesses.
Incinerate the morality,
Replace it with bleakness.

I know not of tomorrow,
Or the day after that.
Enduring the present,
Burning the past.

Please don't look at me,
With those knife-like eyes.
They're cold, but all seeing,
My reaction you revise.

You tease me with your promises,
Your words all tied in bows.
Waiting for my curious mind,
My movements, them you know.

I've tried to run before,
But you always pull me back.
Close me inside, lock the door.
Ready for the attack.
