Fire Poem by Nightshade Starlight

Fire

The smoke is rising,
The orange flames are burning,
The shadows are dancing.
People gather to see the
Burning wood, the burning fire.
It licks its way up towards the night sky.
Burning brightly and hotly.
Don't go near the fire for fear of being burned,
The smell of rich burning wood in the air.
The house ablaze burns brighter,
As shadows of firemen go about,
Trying, failing, and puting the fire out.
With a smile she walks away,
In the shadows and unsuspected.
The sweet innocent girl,
That will burn your house to the ground.
