First Class Ticket Poem by Shirley Harrison

First Class Ticket

When the dead come knocking
I'm gonna let them in
they will dine
and
they will drink with me
whiskey from a tin
and when the night is over
I'll gracefully take my time
to say goodbye
to loved-ones
before I take my flight.
