First Kiss, Never Forgotten Poem by Violet Stevenson

First Kiss, Never Forgotten

First kiss, never forgotten
Still lingers through time
In the now walled garden

A moment to treasure,
An endless untouched memory
Indelible at every turn

We were stars, newly formed
Born from innocence
A half century ago

We, eternally bound
By the ever invisible
In the threads of infinity

In the vaults of heaven
Where moments belong
There holds a kiss

Always remembered
And eternally frozen
In the still walled garden.

By Violet Stevenson.
