First Love Poem by Danzel Ong

Memories flash in her mind,
He was fading away,
His hands extend from him,

She embraces him deeply,
Tears flow from her eyes,
Knowing this would be their last time,

She whispers softly to his ears,
"I love you"
He closes his eyes and smile,
And vanishes into the air,

She drops onto the floor,
Pain and agony fills her,
They were never fated to be,

But she was glad she met him,
Even if the mind forgets,
The heart will always remember,
The memories she had with him,

He was her first love.
