First Sight, Second Thought Poem by Charlotte Pinkney

First Sight, Second Thought

Rating: 5.0

A big cat
The jaguar
Lies in wait
It's curling tail
As still as a statue
Wait! Did it's ear just flick?
Oh wait, it's a bin
With a scarf behind
And a piece of paper
Fluttering in a breeze
