I'm a fish beneath the sea
Swimming in these troubled waters
And I just can't seem to breathe
Swimming fast as I can go
But it feels I'm getting nowhere
I can't reach the top for air

I keep drowning
Don't know where I'm going
I can't reach the top for air

Where is up and where is down
It's getting harder just to swim straight
And I still can't seem to breathe
Some fish around me swim
Acting like they want to eat me
Why can't they just leave me be

I'm a small fish
Not a big fish
I need wings to fly away
