Fish On Dry Land Poem by vaspan smerdis

Fish On Dry Land

In your head, we were two flames
That just craved to crumble wings
In my mind, I was blind
That couldn’t find
How you tumble down
Look around
And hear the sound
Nation of unbound
Growing between us
Change your thought
I want out
From your sight
I was dead because
I just want to explain to you why we’re away
But you say: “hey! You think that I’m stray”
In my days
The sun like a stain
Shines on pain
There’s no sane
In your nights
The moon was right
The Sky is bright
Waiting for the sight
Look around
And hear the sound
Nation of unbound
Let me take your arms
Change your thought
I want out
From your sight
I was dead because
I just want to explain to you why we’re away
But you say: “hey! You think that I’m stray”
