Fishing Poem by Wendy Gomez

Fishing

Fishing

I never catch anything!
Not even a cold
I can't even catch a flesh eating virus
Can't catch that hound of mine, barely even hold

Even though there ain't nothin' on that hook
I can't ignore the fact
Fishing is a great hobby
It's my fault, fish food I lacked

Tomorrow is a new day
Tomorrow I will know
How to fish the right way
Skills I will grow
